High efficiency product up to 160lm/w
Three main of Led technical difficulties are: 1. Efficiency. 2.Heating 3.Stable of drivers. High efficiency means we continue to improve 3 of technical difficulties. The whole lamps up to 160lm/w means we have to use 210lm/w led chips, right now only Philip 5050 chips can reach that. Many manufacture marked their lamps reach to 180lm/w, We are skeptical.
High wattage up to 1440w / 1600w.
High master led light 1440w / 1600w mainly used for international stadium sports or seaport. As it’s limited application, it should be have a high standard of quality control. Such as Salt Mist test, wind pressure test, IP level waterproof test and basically IES test. So, few manufactures produced high master led lights. Significantly, there was something of a consensus that commercial lighting will overtake residential lighting and become 2018’s highest growth category. With 34% of respondents backing this particular development, this was more than double the 16% who expressed the same belief back in October 2017.（During the course of the four-day event, HKTDC Research interviewed 357 industry players, including 221 buyers and 136 exhibitors, in order to determine their views on the prospects of the lighting sector and the product trends they anticipated for the coming year.）
Magnetic products, easy installation
Magnetic installation is a new way during these two years.The engineers not only design and research on technical parameters of the product, but also has innovative functions and close to the end user. Everyone knows that the installation of the LED is a technical job, required an professional electricians with certificate. So, the efficiency of installation is also a way to help contractors save costs. At present, we know that there are two main types of magnetic products. One is magnetic strips. Mainly for T5/T8/T12 tubes retrofit installed in troffer. The other one is magnetic track light. Mainly for shopping stores, boutiques, galleries and condos.
AC220v led strip will become more popular
The led strip that everyone used is mainly DC12V/DC24V. Used to decorate the building same as the neon light. Such as the following picture.
For safety reason low voltage DC12V/24V is generally used and acceptable.With the continuous advancement of LED technology, high-voltage AC110v / AC220V led strip is also a mature product, large exports to Europe and the United States. We had done a project last year used AC220V led strip, 9w 700lm, IP65, 2 years warranty, used for shopping mall outdoor decoration. Until now, it last for almost one year, effecting is good. AC220V led strip is easier installation than DC24V led strips, lower costly because it reduced the cost of drivers. But disadvantage is high voltage led strip highest watt only produce 9w, low voltage led strip can be 61.6w.
